Hormonal Breakdown #1

Wow! Oh how I love hormones, Oh how I love hormones. Uh NOT!!
So, I just got off the phone with my husband. I gave him his entertainment for the day. Let me set this up for you. Last night I went to watch Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. I didn't get in bed until 2:45am. I slept in until 11:30ish. So, I got my 8 hours of sleep. But I am still dragging so I decided to read since there wasn't anything good on TV.
I was laying there reading and feeling so proud of my puppy, Oliver. He was chewing on his "toy" and being such a good boy. Now usually he doesn't spend that much time on one thing so I thought, "Ok, maybe I should check that out." I stood up and looked and sure enough the dog was chewing on my mac cord. It was the heavy duty extension part that I had on the coffee table. You don't have to use this part unless you need the extra cord.
Some past history is that he had already bitten my regular cord and Mr. Magnificent (my husband) already fixed it! Thank God he can save us $80-$100. So, the extender part had been on the coffee table since I hadn't been using it.
So, I start screaming at Oliver (((NO!!))) and apparently I got loud because my throat is a little soar now. Then came the tears. Anger tears! Tears that shouldn't not have even come. See, I don't have to have that cord. I don't have to have it to charge my computer so logically I know it is "Ok" but the tears came on anyways.
Then I call my husband. And what does he do?! HE LAUGHS!! He thought it was hilarious that I was crying over a power cord, which made me cry even worse!! Then he tells me, "Hurry up and have this baby." Yeah because I can speed that up! Oh wow...so apparently it makes more sense that I am hormonal than actually mad at my dog. At one point the hubs says, "Get that out of your system before I get home, haha." I reminded him that this was my first of many hormonal breakdown.
Now, the puppy is sleeping. Maybe the rest of the day will go better. Yeah right...

Don't cry over spilled...

Sno Cones! Yes, I may have gotten a sno cone from my favorite sno cone place today. I decided I would try one of their themed sno cones. They have Twilight, Harry Potter, and Shrek flavors. So, with my deep love of black cherry, I tried "Bella's Blood" which was black cherry and red raspberry! I think I am in love. Or at least the little one inside me is (hee hee). It was great but when you get down to the bottom of the cup with all the syrup, I'm done.

I had left it on the kitchen table. Our trash was too full to put it in there. (Insert constant fight over who's job that is.) We took the dog to get his shots and the Hubs wanted to see the paperwork to make sure they listed all of his shots. So he is handing me my purse and I just pulled the papers out which made the purse swing back and knocked it off the table. *GASP* In my blue and white kitchen. But I did great. Didn't get mad at all, just got the towel and mop!! It is all clean now but I was afraid my white table was going to stain. But the hubs wiped it all up :) The humor of all this was how worried I was about my niece and nephew getting red sno cones.

Little did I know!

Knock on wood, no nausea today but I have had heartburn. I will gladly trade one for the other.

New Concept!!

So, today while looking for pictures of women who are showing at 11 weeks (another long story). I happened upon this blog.

I had a *duh* moment. You see, lately I have been struggling with coming up with ideas on what to put on my blog. When I saw her blog I had the "I want to be like her when I grow up" thought!

Well, I think I have about 7 more months of motivation now! So, I decided I would blog about my pregnancy and all that entails! It is still a part of "My Journey" so I think it is fitting. And can I say that I am excited to have a almost daily prompt. :) I have some funny stories to tell already, involving burned wax paper, forgotten shaving cream, and walking farts. Yes you read correctly.

This is going to be fun for you and embarrassing for me but we can all laugh together. So buckle up and get ready for some lovely pregnancy details, some funny stories, and tearful moments. Enjoy the ride!

Crafting with Cadence

Today I was babysitting my niece and we needed a craft to do. So, I decided she needed to learn how to sew buttons on fabric. After we mastered that without any poked fingers. So, we made Grandma a card.
I super glued the buttons on some cardstock and she sewed them on. The glue was just to hold them in place. Then we made the card.
It says "I love you more than all the buttons in the world."

Singing HIS Praises!

I cannot begin to tell you how much this is a God story! Sooo many little details that I will share later, but God gets TOTAL glory for this! Click on the picture to see it larger :)

I am completely excited after 8 months of trying, God knew what was best! See, morning sickness and teaching wouldn't go well together... I am so glad for his timing and not mine. Why is it so hard for us to realize that when we are going through tough situations? But when you see the little reasons of why you needed to wait on Him it makes it all worth it.
